Hoppy Birthday!

Hi everyone,
I wanted to share another card I made with the new Critters Down Under set from Lawn Fawn. By the way all the new release sets are available today at lawnfawn.com! Woo Hoo! :)

HoppyBirthday

The kangaroo is colored with copics & the trees are paper pieced. I added glossy accents to the leaves. The striped background was made using another new set, Belinda's Borders. I love this set, great borders that can also be used to create patterns as well.  By the way, my Operation Write Home card (which you can find HERE) also used a stamp from Belinda's.

Thank you all so much for the Birthday Wishes yesterday! And Big Huge Thank you to all the girls who got together and had a blog hop for my birthday! I was super surprised and very grateful. It was so sweet. If you didn't see the hop you can check it out starting on THIS post on Danielle's Blog. There really are some talented ladies in this group, you will leave super inspired as I did.  Thanks so much Danielle, Linda, Mary Dawn, Stephanie, Joy, Kelly Marie, Lynnette, Melissa, Britta, Marie & Yainea!

Thanks for stopping by!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Critters Down Under

Hi everyone, today is the last day of Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week but we have a great set to share, Critters Down Under! The critters in this set are super cute and I know you are all going to love it.

SmileCrocodile

I stamped the tree image in Grass Chalk Ink on the yellow card base to create a subtle background for my critters.  The crocs & bird are colored with copics and cut out.  I used the bow image from Love n' Breakfast for the girl crocodile.

Head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog to see the rest of today's fabulous projects from the Design Team and comment for a chance to win a Critters Down Under set of your very own! :)

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Make Lemonade

It's day three of inspiration week and today we are featuring a fun mini set perfect for summer called Make Lemonade!  I just love the images in this little set, super fun & festive for the summer season.

Lemonade

When life hands you lemons make a shaker card. :) I stamped the lemon image with Poppy chalk ink to create a custom tone on tone patterned panel.  The images inside the shaker are colored with copics and I used bright sides papers from the large 12x12 collection pack to make the shaker & banner.

Be sure to visit the Lawn Fawn blog if you haven't already and see what the rest of the design team created for today! And there are giveaways going on all week, so be sure to comment for a chance to win!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Dad's Day

Welcome back for day two of Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week!  Today we are featuring a new set all about Dad called Dad's Day.  This set is perfect for those hard to make masculine cards. :)

DadsDay

I clear embossed the solid image of the necktie onto pattern paper then went over it with marker to create and inverse image.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Sunny Skies

Hello! It's May Inspiration Week with Lawn Fawn! There are 7 new stamp sets being released on the 31st and today we are featuring one of my favorites from the new release.  Although truthfully I like all the new sets and I am excited to finally start sharing them with you!

Today's stamp set is Sunny Skies, it's a super cute set for summer!  I decorated a glittery notebook I picked up at the craft store with the sun & clouds from the set.

SunnySkies

One fun thing about this set is the smiley faces are separate stamps from the other images so you can add them or use them without very easily.  For the hearts I used stamps from My Silly Valentine & My Cup of Tea.

Be sure the check out the other beautiful creations from the rest of the Design Team on the Lawn Fawn Blog and comment for a chance to win.  Kelly has lots of giveaways going on this week! :)

Operation Write Home

Today Lawn Fawn is participating in Operation Write Home's Memorial Day blog hop! Here is the card I made for today's hop.

OWH_sketchBlogHop

I just got some new nesting hexagon dies and had fun breaking them in with this card. I used one of the smaller sizes to cut hexagons from the Bright Side Petite Paper Pack and arrange them on matching Whirlpool Bazzill cardstock. (HERE is a link to the Bazzill Matchmaker colors for the Bright Side papers) The teeny tiny background hearts are stamped with the new Toffee Crunch Memento ink color which has a perfect tone on tone look on kraft paper. I used a new Lawn Fawn stamp on this card as well! Sneaky sneaky!!!! :)  I love this new set and I think you all will too!

Visit the Lawn Fawn blog to participate in the OWH hop (I believe Kelly has a giveaway!).

Young Crafters Unite! Challenge #10

It's that time again, time for another Young Crafters Unite! Challenge.  This month's challenge is Flowers!

For my card I white heat embossed this stamp from the Hero Arts Untitled Love set on white cardstock then colored over it with Memento markers.  The background is one of my favorite Hero Arts background stamps, Magical Background.  It is stamped in blue and the card is finished off with some ribbon, gems & a little stickles on the flowers.

Be sure you check out all the other amazing design team creations and all the challenge details at the Young Crafters Unite! blog including the amazing prize up for grabs.

A $25 Gift Certificate to Simon Says Stamp!

I'm also playing along with my friends at A Blog Named Hero Dust 'em Off challenge with this card, I just got this stamp set so it hasn't really collected "dust" but I think it applies! :)
